How is a R.A.W. SPIN different from riding a regular bike?
You have a a 38lb flywheel and a fixed gear so you cannot cheat and coast down a hill as the flywheel continues to move and won't stop unless a brake is applied so you get a very smooth and continuous ride.
What fitness level should I be in to join in?
R.A.W. SPIN is great for anyone 16+ and allows you to work at your own intensity by controlling your own resistance. I have members from 16 to 82 as its a fantastic form of low impact cardiovascular activity, which doesn't place a high amount of stress on your joints.
How long will it take for me to see results?
In approx. 2-3 weeks you will notice an increase in your cardio endurance, energy levels and strength in your lower body as well as fat loss.
On average, permanent weight loss will average out to around 1-2 lbs per week.
How Often Should I join in?
R.A.W. SPIN is a fun and challenging way to get fit, make new friends and exercise intensely. 2-3 times a week is recommended.
